NATIONAL SEATING & MOBILITY CANADA EXPANDS BUSINESS TEAM

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 11, 2021) — National Seating & Mobility (NSM) Canada has expanded the business team with two new hires. In addition to Dave Munroe who joined the company as director of finance in November 2020 and Rick Nori, regional area director for Canada, NSM has added Dheyaa Qaddo as controller and Eugene Fung as HR and payroll manager.

 

“Expanding our business team with the addition of these respected professionals is crucially important in supporting NSM’s continued growth across Canada,” said Nori. “The knowledge and experience Dave, Dheyaa and Eugene bring to our team will strengthen our operations and ability to provide bestin-class service to our Canadian clients.”

 

Finance-industry veteran Dave Munroe, a Vancouver native, was named director of finance for NSM Canada. Munroe provides financial leadership, overseeing all administrative functions of Canada business operations including procurement, technology, HR, real estate and facilities, fleet management, and funding oversight. He formerly led the finance function at BCAA through progressive roles and a diverse set of businesses, serving as the financial lead for a multi-year, multi-million-dollar digital transformation program.

 

Dheyaa Qaddo, a 20-year finance industry professional, joined the NSM Canada team as controller. In this role, Qaddo will be responsible for the oversight of accounts payable activities, cash and treasury management, financial accounting and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation and compliance. Qaddo’s experience includes financial management roles in a variety of industries including manufacturing, financial services, oil and gas, retail, food and beverage as well as public practice. Qaddo resides in Langley, British Columbia.

 

Eugene Fung joined the NSM team as HR and payroll manager. He is responsible for people strategies meeting Canadian business objectives, managing the HR team in Canada and overseeing strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, payroll and benefits. His experience includes previous positions with media and entertainment company, Technicolor in London, England, and Vancouver and staffing with Impact Recruiting in Vancouver, where he currently resides.

Nori has led the Canadian expansion for four months, following a 33-year career in the Complex Rehab Technology industry. As the regional area director, he is responsible for creating strategies that will drive strategic advantage for the company while working collaboratively with senior leadership to establish and maintain key initiatives, priorities and operating plans at the branch level in support of company goals. He currently resides in Calgary, Alberta.
