Once we receive this information, we will contact your doctor to obtain your prescription and all other pertinent documentation required by your insurance. When all the paperwork is received, we will obtain prior authorization if your plan requires it. Once all the paperwork is completed, we can issue your first order if you are ready.

After your initial order, your future orders are handled by our dedicated Resupply team. You will be assigned a dedicated representative who will be reaching out to you ahead of your upcoming order to check to see what you need to get the order on the way before you run low. To make reordering customized to your needs, there are several ways to get your upcoming order reminders via text, email, automated call, or your dedicated customer service representative will reach out to you. Your order will come directly to your residence.

Each insurance may have different requirements. Typically, paperwork is good for either 6 months or a year. We will automatically renew paperwork for you before it expires, so there is no gap in your service. If you need to make any changes or additions to your prescription, our team will also handle it.

Yes, you can have an order shipped to an alternate location. However, some health insurance providers have guidelines in place that may affect our ability to fill your order if you are shipping to an alternate location. This information will be noted on your account. Or, your Customer Care Service Representative may alert you to these restrictions when you call in to place your order.

If you are ordering a product that may or may not be covered by Medicare for your diagnosis, or you are ordering more than what is allowed, Medicare requires that National Seating & Mobility send you an ABN (Advance Beneficiary Notification) to make you aware of costs for which you are responsible, and for which Medicare will most likely not reimburse you for the product. By signing this document, you acknowledge that you are ordering supplies that may or may not be reimbursed through Medicare. You may also use this document to indicate that you will be paying out-of-pocket for supplies that are not covered under Medicare.

Your insurance requires us to have a form signed by you giving National Seating & Mobility permission to bill your insurance for your supplies.
